Loading the reel

After becoming familiar with how to load a practice reel in light and dark, you put the equipment you need into the change bag:

• Tank with center post,
• tank cap,
• spool,
• cap lifter
• Scissors.

Of course, you should not forget the exposed film.
You need the scissors to cut the film from the spool and remove the film leader.
Before you put your arms into the change bag, you should

• Have absolutely dry hands
• Take off your wristwatch (especially if it has a screen)
• Take off rings and jewelry (risk of scratching the film)
